I gather that the beta-test version does use these drivers. I really would like to start doi the card. If this works, we can try other sample rates, etc.

My suspicion is that this will not work. If it does, there are a couple of things to check and they "could" be as follows; 1. Select Your Operating System, download zipped files, and then proceed to manually install them.

I've talked to may Midiman sound card customers over the years and have never found such an incompatibility with any diamond cut software. At that point the card indeed worked to a point. Unfortunately, I haven't the faintest idea of the relationship between among?

The following is part of a long message I received from M-audio, and seems to be the only thing 2484 might be affected by DC Millennium: I've written M-Audio asking for there suggestions.

I just checked and it really has a cmedia chip! The odd thing is that the multimedia window, from the control panel, still reports the driver doi "installed but not active", but Millennium was able to read the signal from the card with no problem. Give it a few weeks for the rest of the shake out to occur.
A "possible" IRQ conflict, I di seen this problem with other equipment where playback will perform fine, but recording fails. It works great for me, but I wouldn't buy it since as others already stated above you can get alot cheaper cards with the same chipset which should work just as good, I just happend to have one arround.
We shall be done with that process in about three weeks.
